The National Joint Council (NJC) pay deal has now been settled after extensive negotiations. While the deal brings a pay increase, many members had hoped for a better offer given the rising cost of living and continued workplace pressures.
GMB Bolton 23 acknowledges that this result falls short of fully addressing members’ concerns about real-term pay cuts and job security. Bolton Branch and Reps remain disappointed that government and employers did not go further.
Pay increase is due in your August salary, with back pay to April 2025.
