GMB Bolton 23 Branch has worked to support the adoption of this charter , following last years GMB North West and Irish Region’s Campaign for Justice Conference where the Dying to Work Charter was highlighted along following a campaign originally begun by GMB Midlands and East Coast Region whose member Jacci Woodcock had been diagnosed with terminal breast cancer
Over half a million workers are now covered by the TUC’s Dying to Work Charter, which guarantees rights for workers facing a terminal diagnosis and Bolton Council became one of the latest Local Authority Employers to sign up to the charter.
